 Kiln - Wood quality preserved by slow drying in controlled environment.
Craftsman selecting boards for his next project.
Cutting boards to desired length.
Jointing the edges, in preparations for gluing.
Each board is glued and clamped together with strong water tight glue.
Each craftsman works diligently to create your masterpiece.
Edges are routed by hand.
Sanding throughout the building process adds to the quaility.
Drawers and Doors are fitted with precision.
Cabinet backs are also solid wood; tongue and groved boards to allow for expansion from climate changes.
Each bed finial and table leg are carefully hand turned.
The chair rungs are eight-sided and sanded to precise fit.
All chair parts ready for assembly.
All stains are carefully applied by hand.
Finished furniture waiting for delivery.
We deliver right to your house.   Furniture packed in thick blankets.
The water resistant clear finish is evenly applied inside and outside each piece of furniture.
After stain and two coats of finish are dried, the hardware is installed.
The Craftsman's signature and GWI stamp/year are applied.

You can get a personal quided tour of our Woodshop.  We give tours to small groups (under 10 people) with no reservations and at no cost.  Larger groups should call to make an appiontment and we charge only $2.00 per person. 
Personal tours are available Monday through Friday 9 AM to 4 PM.
